신개념 ALV, 내달 2일부터 본격 판매

쉐보레 브랜드의 첫 모델로 국내에 소개된 신개념 7인승 ALV(Active Life Vehicle) ‘쉐보레 올란도(Chevrolet Orlando)’가 3월 2일 본격적인 판매에 앞서 14일부터 사전계약을 실시한다.

쉐보레 올란도는 지난 9일 서울 용산 전쟁기념관 내 평화의 광장에 마련된 쉐보레 타운에서 이색적인 신차발표회를 통해 일반에 공개돼 승용 세단과 SUV, 다목적 차량의 장점을 모두 갖춘 신개념 차량으로 호평 받고 있다.

판매/마케팅/AS부문 안쿠시 오로라(Ankush Arora) 부사장은 “쉐보레 올란도는 개발단계부터 생산에 이르기까지 전 직원의 혼을 담은 쉐보레의 첫 국내판매모델인 만큼 스타일, 성능, 편의성, 품질 그리고 합리적인 가격까지 모든 면에서 소비자를 만족시킬 것”이라며 “지금까지 매력적이고 강인한 SUV스타일, 승용 세단의 정숙성과 안정적인 승차감, 패밀리 밴의 넓은 공간과 실용성을 모두 갖춘 제품을 원했던 국내 고객들에게 기대 이상의 큰 만족을 줄 것”이라고 밝혔다.

쉐보레 올란도는 고효율 2,000cc급 첨단 가변 터보차저 커먼레일 디젤(VCDi: Variable Geometry Turbo Charger Common Rail Diesel Injection) 엔진을 장착해 최고출력 163마력(3,800 rpm) 및 최대토크 36.7 kg.m(1,750~2,750 rpm)를 자랑한다.

차량 가격은 ▲LS모델 일반형 1,980만원(수동변속기), 고급형 2,123만원 (자동변속기) ▲LT모델 2,305만원(자동변속기) ▲LTZ모델 2,463만원(자동변속기)으로 합리적이고 경쟁력있는 가격대를 형성하고 있다.

한편 GM대우는 오는 18일부터 20일까지 강원도에 위치한 보광 휘닉스파크 스키장에서 ‘헬로우 올란도 페스티벌’ 행사를 개최한다.

이번 행사에는 ▲ 올란도와 얼음으로 조각한 올란도 등 차량 전시 ▲포토 이벤트 ▲경품 이벤트 ▲올란도 라운지 운영 등을 통해 가족,연인,친구와 함께 스키장을 찾은 고객들에게 올란도를 적극적으로 알려나갈 계획이다.
